چکیده

Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are particles released by multiple cells, encapsulated lipid bilayers and containing a variety of biological materials, including proteins, nucleic acids, lipids metabolites. With the advancement separation characterization methods, EV subtypes their complex diverse functions have been recognized. In central nervous system (CNS), EVs involved in various physiological pathological processes, such as regulation neuronal firing, synaptic plasticity, formation maintenance myelin sheath, propagation neuroinflammation, neuroprotection, spread removal toxic protein aggregates. Activity-dependent alteration constituents enables to reflect change cell tissue states, wide distribution fluids endows them with potential diagnostic prognostic biomarkers for CNS diseases, neurodegenerative disease, cerebrovascular traumatic brain tumor. Favorable biocompatibility, ability crossing blood-brain barrier protecting contents from degradation, give promising therapeutic effects EVs, either collected mesenchymal stem cells culture conditioned media, or designed drug delivery vehicles loaded specific agents. this review, we summarized EVs' basic properties, mainly focused on applications diseases.

Recent Advances in Treatment of Primary Central Nervous System Lymphoma

OPINION STATEMENT Therapeutic options are limited in primary central nervous system lymphoma (PCNSL) with no uniform consensus on optimal management and few published, randomized trials. High-dose methotrexate in combination with other chemotherapeutic agents forms the mainstay of treatment. There hasn't been much progress beyond high-dose methotrexate in this disease, and although results from...

ADENOSINE IN THE CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM

Besides being a metabolite of nucleotides like ATP, adenosine is a mediator of neuronal function in the central nervous system. Its actions are mediated by at least three extracellular receptors. In this review different aspects of adenosine such as biosynthesis, release, inactivation and its receptors are discussed. It also covers pre- and postsynaptic effects as well as postreceptor mecha...

P124: Listeriosis in Central Nervous System

Listeriosis is one of the CNS inflammatory diseases which is happened majority in the form of sporadic. Listeriosis is ingested with the food. Infection occurrence in an exposed person depends on the number of organisms ingested, the virulence of the organisms strain and the individual condition. It is known that Listeriosis has decisive importance as an infection which the cellular immunodefen...

Emerging roles of extracellular vesicles in the nervous system.

Information exchange executed by extracellular vesicles, including exosomes, is a newly described form of intercellular communication important in the development and physiology of neural systems. These vesicles can be released from cells, are packed with information including signaling proteins and both coding and regulatory RNAs, and can be taken up by target cells, thereby facilitating the t...
